Came here because I saw a great review and some awesome pictures of the bagels- did not disappoint! I waited in line for about 15 minutes and then another 15 for my order. I have never had a better bagel. I’ll be thinking about it for the rest of my life haha. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and the service was great in general. Wish I lived closer- truly a must visit place in LA to start your day right!

We love the bagels here. It gets busy if you don’t get there early. They have gluten free options as well. We usually get the Sammy’s egg, Laika , Lily. The Pre-Jam bagel with seasonal fruits never disappoints. Great rose petal iced matcha latte.

Stopped in this afternoon for bagel sandwich! Got me the olli, an a sesame seed bagel. It was pretty darn good I wish a little more turkey was in there. The bagel is very crunchy and chewy nice texture. The turkey and the pesto had a great flavor. I was able to park on the side road, I've been here on the weekend and it's been very crowded. Today I just walked in and ordered straight away. Great place I will be back!

I mean the best bagel in the west coast ! This is coming from a New Yorker where bagels are king. The menu is delicious fresh and just delightful ! The staff here always has a smile on there face and you Can genuinely feel they love to work there. The coffee is out of this world good ! It’s worth coming to get brekkie here after a long flight from LAX airport ! Say hello to the team behind bar for running a great service everyday !

GREAT bagels with hearty potions and the right ratio of toppings to bagels. Would definitely go back. Be prepared to eat outside or take to go because seating is very limited and the inside tends to be packed with the line to order. If you have your heart set on a certain bagel flavor, go early in the day. They sell out of options.

Delicious vegan bagels! The produce tasted fresh, and the flavors were unique and tasty. I’d love to return and try more. So glad they have vegan cream cheese and vegan options! Service was also kind and friendly.

You need to try this. Ok I know, the line is ridiculous but they try to move quick, when we arrived the line was long, started at the corner of the street, and it took us 20min to get to the register, not bad considering other places when waiting in line. The bagels are delicious!! It’s almost like I don’t want to call them bagels because of how good they are, we tried one of their sandwiches, just amazing, every bite. We bought a dozen of bagels and made them breakfast sandwiches for the whole week. I will be back

Visited Layla Bagels on a bustling Wednesday at 9 am – the wait was shorter than my attention span! Bagels so good, they might be mistaken for comedy gold. Laika approved! Two different halves – because choosing is hard. Coffees played their part, and the outdoor seating in California sun is basically a free tan. Five stars for bagel bliss and a side of vitamin D!

Woweee Honestly saw this SO many times on my FYP so couldn't really ignore at that point... and so glad I didn't!! Bagels are reminiscent of ones you can only find in NYC. Crispy exterior with a fluffy and chewy interior. They have many different types of sandwiches you can opt for and the best part: they offer half sandwiches too so you can get half for a little snack or even a whole one with 2 different flavors The shop is very small and line can get very long. Parking is near impossible (street parking only) and seating is limited to a tiny area outdoor. BUT the beach is very close so you could always just take it there like we did IG: Spillingthe.beans

Layla is the best bagel shop in LA! Their Scarlett bagel is always my go-to -- super flavorful tomatoes with lemon zest and chili. Their matcha is also great! (be sure to get it with double matcha, as it's on the weaker side by default) It gets pretty busy, especially on weekends, but the line moves pretty quickly and the staff are very friendly, even when it's packed!
